I love retro games, especially Arcade games but its a dying breed I am afraid. A trip to any arcade now finds few upright cabinets that dont have a gun attached,if you can find one at all...
the days of older games like Pacman and Galaga are gone even Streetfighter II and its ilk are very rare now....and I dont think they are coming back :(
MAME ROM's and more
Still there is hope for those of us who knew the old Arcades and the games they contained, or those who have heard of them and want to know more and that is MAME which you may already know, the Multi-Arcade Machine Emulator and its a saviour to me and many others who want to keep the classics alive!

It's probably not a search for sharks with FRICKIN laser beams attached to their heads...! (If you are you are looking in the wrong place)!!
So I assume you are looking to either begin or add to a collection of ROM's and here is a great place to start, my collection has taken a long time to build and in the community spirit of MAME I am sharing it right here.
Of course you can find much of what I offer here and there on the web, but more often than not if its not ridden with viruses its not actually what you were looking for...I have taken all the pain and annoyance out of the equation here with clean, scanned and perfectly packed sets.
Forget your ISP's download limits, forget searching fruitlessly and then waiting days and days for your downloads to complete, this is the way to get the games you love quickly and easily!
On to the ROM's then...
Just in case you are wondering, this service is not illegal, just a way of stopping ebay scammers from auctioning this sort of thing for ridiculous amounts as of old.
I am offering my collection on as few disks as possible, (IE best compression methods etc) so as to keep all our costs down to a realistic level!
